Brian Deutsch – Jersey Jets Director & Head Coach

Brian is currently the varsity assistant coach and offensive coordinator at Seton Hall Prep. Prior to Seton Hall Prep, Coach "D" was a varsity head coach for five years at Torrey Pines HS in San Diego, CA and Irvington HS in Westchester County, NY. In high school, he was an all-league middie for Port Washington, NY and helped his team reach the Long Island Championship game in 1990. Coach D then had a successful career at D-III Colorado College winning the RMILL Conference Championship in 1994. He currently plays for the men’s club team at Columbia University, where he is a graduate student, and helped his team win the NCLL National Championship in 2007. Coach D lives in Summit with his wife and two children and is a special education teacher at Mountain Lakes High School.

 

Dave Brothers - Jersey Jets Head Coach

Dave is the new varsity lacrosse coach at Bernards High School. Coach Brothers has 112 varsity lacrosse wins since beginning his head coaching career in 1997. He has coached several top 10 teams as well as top 15 and top 20 teams over the past twelve years. Coach Brothers has coached several All Americans and dozens of All State players and two Academic All Americans. Coach Brothers has received many honors during his career including the Fitch Division Coach of the Year, the Star Ledger Coach of the Year, and the NJICLA Coach of the Year. He played his high school ball at Columbia and was 1st team All Gibbs Division in 1985. Coach Brothers then went on to play his college ball at Rutgers University. He lives in Bernardsville with his wife and three children and is a teacher of Health and Physical Education at Bernards High School where he also serves as the freshman football coach and varsity wrestling coach.

 

 

 

Neil LeBlond - Jersey Jets Head Coach


Neil is currently Vice President of Boys Lacrosse in Branchburg, NJ where he coaches a strong eighth grade team and a successful select travel team. Coach LeBlond played lacrosse at D-III standout Drew University in Madison, NJ where he was a member of the first varsity squad the school ever fielded. Drawing on his midfield experience, Neil has coached teams at all youth levels. Coach LeBlond has been involved in lacrosse administration and youth coach and player development for eight years. He really enjoys growing the sport through enthusiastic participation in the lacrosse community, and embraces the traditions of the game. Neil works in Far Hills, NJ as a landscape designer and resides in Branchburg with his wife and two children.


Joe Stanilaus - Jersey Jets Head Coach

In the Spring of 2010, Coach Stanilaus will become the new head varsity coach of the North Brunswick Raiders. Prior to this season, Joe was the varsity assistant and goalie coach at Livingston High School. In his high school days, Joe was named MVP of the Old Bridge lacrosse team. He also took part in the NJ All State lacrosse game, where he was the winning goalie. Joe then had a successful carreer at D-III Kean University. As a freshman, Joe started every game and led the team to the ECAC playoffs for two consecutive years. In the Spring of 2010, Coach Stanilaus will sign on as head coach for the North Brunswick Raiders and he currently resides in Woodbridge with his wife and daughter.

Todd Pagel - Jersey Jets Head Coach

Todd is the new head coach at Edison High School. Prior to this season, Coach Pagel was the head coach of Bernards High School for four years and led his team to the first division title in the school’s history. Todd was also an assistant coach at Division 1 Quinnipiac University and coached the team’s face off specialists and goalies. Coach Pagel played his high school ball at the Hun School of Princeton then went on to play at Quinnipiac University where he was a four year varsity letter winner. Todd was named captain of the team his senior year and was named to the American East Team three years in a row. 

 

JJ Hoeffler - Jersey Jets Coach

JJ is a junior at Widener University where he is a starting attackman. Last season he helped Widener to its 4th straight MAC Championship and NCAA appearance. JJ is a graduate of Cranford High School where he led the state in scoring among midfielders his junior season and was named first team All Conference, first team All County, and first team All State as a senior. JJ was the assistant coach of Cranford’s 8th grade club team in 2002-2004 and coaches the 8th and 9th grade teams at the Cranford High School Lacrosse Camp. At the end of his collegiate season in early May, JJ returns to Cranford and is a volunteer coach for the Cranford High School varsity team. JJ is majoring in Economics with a double minor in Accounting and Finance.

 

Alan Schedlbauer - Jersey Jets Coach

Alan is currently the defensive coordinator at Delaware Valley High School. Coach Shedlbauer was the first head coach of the lacrosse program at Delaware Valley High School in 2005-2006 and compiled an inaugural record of 11-8. This included a state playoff win and seven players with post-season honors. After that season, Alan was awarded 2006 Express-Times Coach Of The Year.  Prior to Delaware Valley, he served as the defensive coordinator at Rutgers Prep and Pingry School. Coach Schedlbauer played his high school ball at North Hunterdon H.S. from 1992-1994 where he was a 3-year letterman. He then went on to be a 3-year starter and captain at Kean University from 1996-1999.  Alan is a Health & P.E. teacher and coaches soccer and basketball at Holland Township School in Hunterdon County. Coach Schedlbauer also coaches his twelve year old daughter for the Hunterdon Mohawks Lacrosse Club and is a member of US Lacrosse and Positive Coaching Alliance.
 
Mark Anton - Jersey Jets Coach
 
Mark is currently a freshman at Division I Saint Joseph’s University, in Philadelphia, where he plays attack and midfield.  He was three year varsity letter winner at Seton Hall Prep and last season he was a captain of the Seton Hall Prep Varsity team that had an 11-5 record and was in the Star-Ledger top 20 for the entire season.  Mark was the team leader in assists in his junior and senior seasons and third on the team with goals in his senior season.  Mark was an assistant coach with the Jersey Jets last summer and is a coach at Seton Hall Prep’s Skills and Drills camp each summer.  Mark is majoring in Sports Management and hopes to become a collegiate lacrosse coach one day.
 

Griffin Giordano - Jersey Jets Coach

Griffin Giordano is currently a freshman at Division III power Stevens Institute of Technology where he is a defenseman. He was a three year varsity letter winner and two year starter at Seton Hall Prep. He accrued a total of 127 ground balls over his varsity career at Seton Hall Prep, and helped the team maintain a top 20 ranking in the Star-Ledger for the entire 2009 season. Griffin was an assistant coach for the Jersey Jets last summer and is a coach at Seton Hall Prep's Skills and Drills camp each summer. He is majoring in Business and Technology, and hopes to become a high school teacher and lacrosse coach.
